The terms you register on.
These apply when you create an account or register for THEYTHAKA'26. Last updated 10 September 2026.
What this is
This site is the registration desk for THEYTHAKA’26, run by the THEYTHAKA'26 organising committee. It takes your details, accepts proof of a UPI payment, and — once a volunteer has checked that payment — issues the entry pass you bring to the gate.
Who can register
Registration is open to students, and you will be asked for a valid student ID at the gate. One registration is one seat for one person. Register with your own details: a pass issued against details that are not yours can be refused at the door.
Your account
- Keep it yours
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share your password, and tell us at admin@theythaka.com if you think someone else has used it.
- Accurate details
- Registrations are matched by email and phone number, and each can be used once. Details that turn out to be wrong may delay or prevent your pass being issued.
Payment and verification
You pay by UPI in your own banking app and upload a screenshot as proof. Every payment is checked by a person, not automatically, so approval is not instant. Until it is approved your registration shows as pending and no seat is guaranteed beyond the one held for you.
The price shown on this site is the price charged; the amount is taken from our own records and not from anything your browser sends. A payment that cannot be matched to a genuine transfer will be rejected with a reason you can read on the status page.
Registration fees are not refundable once a payment has been approved, except where the event is cancelled by the organisers.
Your entry pass
- One person
- A pass admits the person named on it, once. It is not transferable and cannot be sold on.
- Bring ID
- Bring the pass and a valid student ID to the gate.
- It can be withdrawn
- The organisers may revoke a pass if the payment behind it is reversed or found to be false, or if these terms are broken. A revoked pass will not scan at the gate.
Conduct
The organisers may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for behaviour that endangers or harasses others, or that breaks the rules of the venue or institution. Seats are limited and, once the hall is full, registration closes.
What we do not promise
We will do our best to keep this site available, but it is run by a student committee and not a commercial service. The programme, timings and venue may change; the schedule page carries the current version. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to the registration fee you paid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
